My Scratched Negatives

Below is the image that I created with a scratched negative in the darkroom.

When doing this effect I cant help but feel that an 80's retro aesthetic has over come the image. By this I mean the outgoing lines that really just emboss the images and make you look at what is acturly there instead of, just glancing a the image and not think about the message behind it.
